Ride Your Pony launched in 2017 at Islington Mill in Salford, UK. Liverpool School of Art requested it tour to it’s gallery space on Duckinfeld St., Liverpool in February 2018.
The 26 participants of the inaugural Ride Your Pony exhibiton were invited by founder Marie Jones. They were people she had known, worked with or met randomly over the years.

RYP No.01 residency
The residency took place at Islington Mill’s B&B with 7 participants taking part including, Marie Raffeneau from France, Ane Baztarrika from The Basque Country, Marie Jones, Natasha Kurth, Hilary Judd, Angie Chan (invited guest) from Manchester and Laura Parke from Liverpool, UK. Participants met in the RYP exhibition where they were able to speak about their work in the show and Marie spoke for those not present. After, the group met in the B&B where skill share workshops were held in machine knitting and orizomegami.
