Hotline, is a honest and fragmented visual documentation gay culture. That moment of disbelief as you walk into a sauna. That moment you stare at your reflection when you’ve ‘took to much’. The sweat between bodies. The chewing gum to stop your jaw from swinging.
I was given the letter ‘H’, my work is centred on documenting my life living with HIV. Hotline gives us an honest look into a lifestyle which we are forced to feel shame and resentment towards, instead this piece celebrates that and those beautiful moments we experience in a club, sauna or toilet cubicle.
