Title: Sketches for Y

The Y is a great letter for an architect. Firstly as structure: the Y-shaped structure frees up space on the ground floor by bringing all weight to one point. Secondly as urban form: the Y-shaped urban junction demands us to choose a direction. Apparently we love to build beautiful (or disputed) buildings on these type of junctions. Anyway, did you know the origin of Y is a chick hieroglyph? Crazy Egyptians.
