Title: R(IP) – Depressed Eurostsyle
Poster presenting the words “rest in peace” translated into 26 languages of the European Union set in the typeface Fuxit, designed to commemorate the loss and mourning associated with the Brexit result. The typeface’s design is based on vernacular lettering found in a Liverpool City Centre carpark on the day of the EU Referendum result, identifying the direction of “exit” in an appropriately warped manner.
